About Us
Amberwoods is a pleasant family oriented community in Palm Beach County, west of Boca Raton, Florida. There are 215 homes in our community. It is located close to good schools, convenient shopping, hospitals, universities, public parks and beaches. There is an adjacent fire and rescue station and also a police substation. Amberwoods is not located on a major road but it is close to Interstate 95 and to the Florida Turnpike.
Amberwoods is governed by Amberwoods Homeowners' Association, Inc. Our Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws and Restrictions and Amendments exist to maintain the character, safety and property values of the neighborhood.
- The Articles of Incorporation define the HOA as a non-profit corporation. In general, this means that income equals the expenses, with appropriate funds set aside for repair of Association-owned assets.
- The By-Laws with Amendments define the fiscal year, meetings, members of the Association, the Board’s role and responsibilities. When you purchase property in Amberwoods you become a member and you agree to abide by the Restrictions, Amendments, and Rules.
- The Restrictions and Amendments and Rules define what property owners (members) can do, must do, and cannot do. Restrictions can be stricter than Palm Beach County Code. They cover the basics (single-family, residential only, no commercial businesses, trash & trash cans stored out of sight, park vehicles only on pavement, no commercial vehicles or boats/trailers or RVs, TV antenna location, etc.), as well as who can purchase and lease, and require that owners maintain their property and have Board approval before making permanent changes to their property.
